A VERY SENIOR CABINET POSTING. - Lapid doesn't give two hoots about peace talks or anything else, this party was not because he has an ideology he strongly believes in, he formed it because he personally wanted to get into politics and rather than work his way through the ranks of a mainstream party he wanted a fast track to the top so he used his fame to build a party around himself. He will join anybodies coalition even if they are anti peace because he is in politics for Yair Lapid and only Yair Lapid not the Israeli public or the peace process. Right now he is trying to be all things to all people. Sometimes he talks tough to attract Likud voters, sometimes he talks peace to attract labor voters, sometimes he is very outspoken against the religious which the seculars like and at other times he says how he cares about religion to try and get the religious voters. The man is all talk no policy.
