    Dear CJ - for nigh on 90 years officially the modern boders of Israel extend from the Jordan to the Med. sea west bank and Gaza were and still are just territories in Israel. This was indeed agreed on by the turks, the British and then following the 2nd WW by the United Nations - thus whatever Israel allows is because of humanitarian and goodwill reasons which are many. I would suggest you read up a bit on your history - not the media version but rather the formal agreements
