The reality is that it would be difficult for the Marxists to win power in Iran, but not impossibe. Marxism has been driven underground by the Iranian government. The workers in Iran are very dissatisfied and are on the rise. Marxist groups in Iran should form a united front, organize the workers, and move them into action. You seem to think that the Islamic regime in Iran is anti-imperialism. The regime is just using anti-imperialist rhetoric in order to advance its own national interests in the region and to further suppress dissent within the country. It is very probable that the regime would be willing to accomodate the U.S. if it could aquire assurance for itself in exchange.
