I am not in favor of a transfer, but I am in favor of Jews and Arabs sincerely defining their identity and aspirations so they can solve their conflicts and misunderstandings. The easy thing is to regress into the "I'm on the side that's srewed" pose and ignore the fact that Israel is the country with the smallest socioeconomic disparity between a non-muslim majority and its muslim minority (Europe can nonly dream of these numbers). But Sayed, instead of humoring us while not saying anything, take a moment to tell us you want to be (and please avoid the equal-rights-routine): A proud Israeli with Palestinian background? A Palestinian patriot who strives for a Palestinian state with as much territory as possible, but insists having Israeli citizenship and - G'd forbid - not be included in that state? I wouldn't like to be under Palestinian rule, but, if I were Palestinian, I would make it my mission in life to be ncluded in that state to come. But that's us crazy Jews!
