Help, I cannot grasp it... Maybe Labour consists of pensioners who still cling to the idea of being an Ashkenazi Kibbuznik elite party. And somebody representing this background is elected because of this and regardless of what past he has got and what he has to offer. I would strongly prefer Ami Ayalon, but unfortunately he is of Moroccan ancestry and therefore will not be elected chairman of the party. Is Labour still such a racist party or do the members just want the very opposite of Peretz this time? Short-sighted anyway, with Barak as a leader they will lose. Let the guy play the piano, that's what he is good at.
