Labhras, you are right when you say that most, but not all, Jews brush away the notion that they displaced the people on whose land they now live. They don't want to acknowledge that in order to prevent the return of the dispossessed Palestinians over 400 Palestinians villages were systimatically destroyed by the Israelis. They don't want to acknowledge that most Palestinian Arabs in Israel live a second or third class life in the so-called "democratic" state of Israel. There are those who claim that the Arabs refused to accept a state after partition but the evidence is there that shows that the Jews planned to expand their territory after becoming a state. That is what Ben Gurion planned from the start. Maybe the time is now for Palestinians to demand one person, one vote. Israel would have to either allow that vote or stand naked before the world as an oppressor, apartheid state.
