There is zero illegality in the occupation. Israel was invade by Arab armies and international law permits a country that is attacked to fight and occupy lands of invading countries. Israel offered to withdraw shortly after 67 in exchange for genuine peace and was met with the famous 3 no's. Even international law is not dumb enough to permit countries to invade without any cost. In any event, Gaza is not under occupation and the West Bank, which is, was abandoned by Jordan. Yes the are Palestinian people there; yes, they deserve their own state but not if they continue to be viscious, violent, barbaric and uncivilized. They were offered pretty decent terms and were in a position to negotiate better terms, including exchange of lands, but chose not to. As to squatters, they are all over the West Bank, both Jewish and non-Jewish. So, what's so special about Jewish squatters? Historically, the PALS are themselves squatters, squatting on Jewish lands.
