hi there- you declare that you despise fundamentalism....are'nt PEACE groups also a kind of fundamentalism. Any ideology - taken to the extreme - can be a fundamentalism. I would say that holding onto my comfortable ideals while Israelis face death threats, face the delegitimization of their right to a country, and while it seems that there kids are not to be defended....well I would say that that would count in my books as a kind of fundamentalism. Instead of goind to "herum" why don't you come to israel with your kids and see how you feel about all the peace issue afterwards. Maybe the definition of peace- rather than bandying a word around - would be more of interest to you?? What peace would be achieved - rather than achieving peace on paper would be of concern to you? israelis want peace ...but not at the price of their blood or by the loss of their country.
