I totally agree with Mo Aghawani. Syria wants to fight Israel to the last Palestinian, rather than fight on Syrian grounds and return the Golan Heights. That is the epitome of cowardice. Unfortunately, the current Israeli government is leaving the door open for such flamethrowers like Assad who wants to be the indisputable leader of the Arab world supported by Iranian and Saudi money. We wish Syria can lead in Tech Innovation, education and health care, not in sacrificing our Palestinian brothers and sisters. Also, President Obama is still learning on the job the complexity of the politics in the region, and leaves a lot to be desired in his strategies for negotiations.
