Now we understand just what an idiot the owner was. The dog is still not guilty of anything but loyalty to an idiot. Hitler was a monster who took advantage of the German people at a time of doubt and turmoil. As the Germans have been very conscientious citizens of the world since the tragedy that Hitler unleashed upon the world, perhaps it is time for Germans to not forget Hitler and what he led their grand parents to do, but to forgive themselves for what their grandparents did? Perhaps the real lesson of Hitler is not a lesson to the German people. Perhaps it is a lesson to ALL people that monsters can play upon their fear and arrogance to lead them into doing things that they never would if they thought about it. This fool with the dog comes across as sympathetic because he was jailed and the dog sent to camp "Hundenswald" for no fault of it's own. What was suppression of a vile ideology 60 years ago is now an almost an absurdity.
