Great post as usual. In addition to everything you have said, everyone should realize that Soviet democracy experiment is, at least on all global `fronts`, for all intensive purposes is over, meaning the old KGB/military guard is in power again. We are talking about the old, pure mindset of world hegemony & super power role & control. Especially in the ME & with all US progress & sphere of influence gained & Russia lost when they collapsed from supper power status & tried `democracy game`. Now it would take time to catch the lost one, but one of the expedited methods is not only to `rise up` but `drag the opposition down` at the same time by aligning with any possible resistance. For Russia it is not an evil but very strategic, temporary alignment (remember overtures to Hamas), although of the very evil nature for the danger to the world it is creating. Besides, `deep down` there never was or is `love` for Jews anyway, so there are no feelings of `compassion` either.

Netanyahu climbing out of the Rahav, the 5th submarine in the Israel Navy's fleet

Netanyahu trades Israel's democracy for a shtetl with German submarines

Tossing Arab MKs out of Knesset was a new low in Netanyahu's assault on democracy, but de facto, Israel is already an ex-'Jewish democratic' state.
