Sir, for His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and for the international community of states, Al-Quds (East Jerusalem) is occupied territory since June 1967 and as outlined in the peace treaty with between Jordan and Israel, Jordan has a special responsibility regarding the Holy Places in East Jerusalem. May be the President of Medinat Israel Mr. S. Peres invites Bibi for a 5 o'clock tea to inform him of what would be appropriate to do or not to do in this part of occupied Arab-Palestine. If Jordan would expel the Israeli envoy, well, there would be headlines all over the globe, however the extreme right wing FM Lieberman would not be affected, Mr. Netanyahu would make a short statement in the Knesset indicating there is a misunderstanding, and President Peres would send a diplomatic letter to the King that Jordan's interests in the Holy district will be considered, (however the occupation continues).

Why this liberal Zionist now supports BDS

Calling the occupation 'unsustainable' is how liberal Zionists ease their conscience and excuse their timidity, by telling themselves it can’t last. But it will last – unless we start acting more like radicals.
