Howdy Kim; If the Gazans get uppity, Israel can get away with turning off the light switch, but water is a different matter. Electricity is not essential to life, but water is. Israel must continue to provide the Gaza Strip with water at the same rate as they have in the past if only for humanitarian reasons. It won't be enough, but that is a problem that the Gazans need to address NOW. They currently have a population explosion and are pumping water out of the ground faster than it can be replaced which causes sea water to seep in and make the water brackish. A desalanization plant would help, but nobody is going to invest in one until after the shooting stops.
