Khalid, Certain things should not be used as playing cards. I am talking about targeting of innocent civilians. While Palestinian innocents are also killed, Israel is TARGETING militants who sometimes take cover adjacent to civilian areas. You also talk of spoils of the 1967 war. are you referring to how israel inherited the palestinian problem? Also keep in mind that in the 1967 war, Jordan Egypt and lebanon lost land, the palestinians did not. On a side note, is it true that the PA leadership is hiring 5,000 new police officers to police Gaza after the pullout? Why are these jobs only offered to 18-22 year olds? Doesnt this seem like age discrimination? I really hope that the PA leadership uses America's 50 million dollars wisely and builds infrastructure for its people and creates jobs. Bottom line is this, for a true peace there has to be a central PA leadership to which all people adhere, this PA leadership has to want peace before talks begin. The PA can only enter peace talks with Israel when they are willing and can realistically on the ground offer peace. lets hope.
