"What we are witnessing is a poor, mimicked reproduction of the hapless Oslo Agreement. And it won`t work because Israel is not willing to give up the stolen land, the spoils of the 1967 war. this is why Ehud Olmert is trying to cajole the senile Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to accept a "compromise" ...." Hello Khalid, How right you are --Olmert's plan won't work as the Palestinian people haven't suffered for the last 60 years under the rule of thugs and tyrants in Israel to sell out to "a compromise". Hence what I feel Olmert needs is an earthquate and ouster the settlers (which is required under the law) or go for a one state solution which I am reluctant about ( It's like asking the English and Irish to live together, One is so struck up (or constipated) and the other is free spirited) yet it could happen as you said: " One man-one vote..no apartheid, no violence, no separation wall, no Talmudic edicts, no chesronot Shas. Nothing." But I am more incline to think this could occur deeper into the global age and economy as people are so brain washed as the moment and indeed constipated too. There are so many hang ups over there with people--don't you tkink? Anyway, great to have your imput! I love your sense and sensibility and I feel it is right in line with the global age. Cheers and thanks, Dutch
