Precedent-setting ruling bypasses the adoption law requirement that the adoptive parent and the child must be of the same faith.02:11 26.11.15 | 0 comments
In my opinion, Keren Kayeemet L'Yisrael (Jewish National Fund), is no longer a charity, even though the Hebrew word (keren) means charity. It is really in the land development business. Even though there is plenty of land in Southern Israel (Negev) that could be developed, I believe that the Keren Kayemet should be merged into the Israeli Government, and the proceeds from the land sales to the Government should be distributed to the elderly and disabled Israelis (including Arabs and other non-Jews.) Over the years, the purpose of the Keren Kayemet has obviously changed.
