Two set to meet in Cuba for talks on killing of Christians in the Mideast, a meeting hailed by Russian envoy to Vatican as confirming 'the Christian civilizational role of Russia.'04:09 06.02.16 | 0 comments
Only a month earlier, prior his death, Kennedy had excellently dealt with the principal of the Alabama University, Wallace, who vowed on the name of segregation to stand in person at the entrance of his university and not to let any black student enter his white university. Kennedy sent the National Guard to the spot with a message to Wallace to step aside and let the Guards escort him away from there. He was so stupefied that he became speechless and could nothing but follow the President's orders. In the evening that same day, Kennedy adressed the nation on TV with one of his most splendid speeches on equality of the Americans, who all are "different" with various ethnic backgrounds, referring to the origins of the USA, yet they all are equal citizens with the same rights. The speech was surely not welcomed among the White southerners of Texas, famous for slavery, and so their hatred brewed under their skin. When the Kennedys landed in Dallas, Jackie Kennedy was not given the typical yellow roses of Texas, but blood red roses as if containing a hidden meaning. - I believe Kennedy was murdered either by the military, who bore grudge to Kennedy for having averted a nuclear war with the Soviets over Cuba, while the military preferred warring ... or by the Klux-Klux Clan, who did not like Kennedy's commitment to the blacks' Civil Rights movement. --- Why has the world still not recovered from his death? I think, bc he represented wisdom and humaneness that are timeless. His murder was violent and brutal and shocks us still today as the Proverbs put it: "the worst of wrongs is when noble people are struck" . Therefore we still 50 years later are all in tears all over the world. RIP president Kennedy.
