One is tempted to suggest a boycott of Ken Loach films as a response, but as so few people go to see them in the first place it really wouldn't be worth it. Besides, they have unquestionable medicinal value. Their unremitting worthiness and tedious predictability are terrifically helpful to chronic insomniacs. When you've seen one, you've slept through them all.
