...Israel would settle in an instant if it had someone sufficiently mature enough and legitimately interested in peace to deal with. Israel has made that offer to the Palestinians, who have rejected it and simply responded with violence. The kind of abuse leveled at Israel by Palestinian supporters (the likes of which seen at UCI, Oxford etc) are more interested in delegitimizing Israel than engaging in proper dialogue. the simple answer that withdrawal to '67 borders and settlement stoppages are not the answer. No Palestinian leader has the authority to settle with Israel as the truth of the matter is that without having Israel to bash, the Palestinians will lose their status, if not their very existence.Palestinians are more dependent on Israel than they care to admit.
