Maybe I didn't make my point clearly enough. I wasn't trying to say _all_ great artists were Jewish, but that the contribution of my people to the world of arts and culture (not to mention science) was disproportionate when compared to our global numbers. The main point, which somehow got lost, was that t meant _Jewish_ artists, not Israeli. ones. I'm afraid the diaspora may have again become more representative of the Jewish people (exclude AIPAC from that definition) than the sorry sight Israel has become.
