why should we concentrate on the Syrian track when it's understood that peace with Syria would entail a comprehensive peace agreement with the remaining outstanding members of the Arab League? President Assad is unlikely to leave out the Palestinians without resolving the dispute in the West Bank and Gaza. Isn't the Golan less important than the West Bank for security measures? It's not a good idea to defer the inevitable territorial concessions based on the 1967 borders to future years because the Quartet has already announced the hope to formulating a Palestinian state by 2011. If the Netanyahu government seriously wants to achieve peace in the ME then it's a good idea to include Kadima within the coalition.
