When a war is just, and very few of them ever are, the population expects and tolerates casualties. When a war is stupid, as Israel's completely assinine response to a petty Hezbellah attack, the population simply can not tolerate casualties. It's very simple. The rockets wouldn't have rained down on Israel, had Israel responded differently. At some point, Israel will have to stop violating Lebanese airspace and waters (as they've been doing regularly before this crisis), and Israel will have to give up the Golan (it isn't hers by any international standard) and the West Bank.... That's what the world is waiting for.
