Just think less than 20 years ago Gaza was well on its way to being the industrial capital of a future palestinians state. Had an airport, a power station, swage treatment of course and there were plans to build a port. Now look at it. The airport is just some ruined buildings which have bee scavenged for materials by the locals & the runway torn up. sewage problems alot of buildings have been destroyed, no plans to build a port anytime soon. Pretty much the only major infrastructure project that remains is the power station.. If only Arafat hadn't rejected Camp David a palestinians state would have been created over a decade ago and Gaza would not be such a mess.
