    the Palestinian right is also unwilling to relinquish their claim to the land. Sadly the status quo is more acceptable to both camps, Israel primarily as it can continue colonization and land appropriations in the west bank. Palestinians retain their claim to the land. A peace deal would in all likelihood legally relinquish all of the lands acquired by Israel in 1948. A very sticky situation indeed. On a side note, how can an agreement with an unelected PA, unelected president (Abbas) be legally binding to Palestinians in Gaza or in refugee camps scattered in Lebanon and Syria? We are definitely headed towards a one state solution, as both sides will never give up their claims to all of the land...
