Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
Just how will Israel accomplish this? The US has a far superior weapons stockpile yet still worries conventional weapons will not suffice in an air campaign. If Iran has so successfully dispersed and protected its nuke program, it seems Israel would have use some of its nukes. So is this "think tank" advocating nukes? Remember that "think tanks" in the US advocated invading Vietraq. Is Israel dumb enough to make the same mistakes we made? It's only a matter of time before Iran or some other local state acquires nukes. Israel will then lose its nuclear card. In a way, Iran getting nukes could be good for Israel if the prospect of losing its nuclear monopoly forces Israel to make peace with the Palestinians. Peace would neuter any Iranian nuclear threat because Iran would then be threatening Palestinians.
