Jerusalem traffic will just be even more snarled when all those bus lines have to negotiate Rehov Agrippas and Rehov Shaare Tzedek in two directions--the street is much too narrow to accomodate them. Old people will have to walk much farther with their shopping carts to get to bus stops for lines like the #18...it is going to be a catastrophe. The light rail is easy to sabotage, will cause accidents, doesn't go where it needs to go [where the majority of people without cars live]. And it will cause the further decline of the city center and Machaneh Yehuda in particular, which is very sad.
