There is not such a thing as "judeo-arabs". Some jews who came from arab countries spoke arabic that's all. Many minorities in arab countries speak arabic and are not arabs. The jews who lived in the arabs countries were jews, not arabs. Sephardim and ashkenazim are both jews the same way the arabs living in Israel are arabs, not jews.
