it's interesting that most comments here express that they don't care but I think in the end, how much applicable the Jewish community or religion has a part in one's individual decisions varies depending on one's family background, eg. attending synagogue, people involved in their lives, Shabbat at home, continuing the 5000+ legacy of Jewish heritage, economic gains or social acceptability, etc. But in the end, Jews don't ever really disown Jews. Once one is born a Jew, one stays a Jew.
