every single business closed? really? can you name any that actually spent money and tried to open? the answer is that none tried to open, they thought of it, they wanted to open branches there but then they saw gazans wripping whatever infrastructure israel left them to shreds and so they wisely reconsidered. israeli checkpoints are put in place no within gaza but rather between it and israel. to suggest that israel has any type of responsibility to open those gates and let gazans freely into israel is absurd at best. israel has in the past let gazans enter the country to work but ubder the current circumstances and under the current government one can easily understand why opening the gates is foolish. and the water? now that israel has left gaza it has NONE thats right, not ONE single responsibility to the people who live there. the govt in gaza should be providing water, electricity, jobs, etc... to the people it has been elected to manage. stop blamming israel, they left
