"Now, SDHD, read the Disengagement Plan." You mean, the part where it says the troops will WITHDRAW? "Sharon insisted that the IDF was being "deployed to the border", and that is a VERY different thing to them being "withdrawn"." Ummm, you mean, being withdrawn from a territory and being deployed outside of the territory is not being withdrawn from the territory? You're a schmuck. I know how to understand what I read, do you? 1. Israel will WITHDRAW from the Gaza Strip, including all the existing Israeli settlements, and will redeploy in territory outside of the Strip. The WITHDRAWAL excludes a military presence in the area along the border area between the Gaza Strip and Egypt called 'The Philadelphia Corridor' as will be detailed later. 3. A fact emanating from this move will be the lack of a basis to the claim that the Gaza Strip is occupied territory.
