Johnboy, "I suspect that time is running out, and pretty fast." No it isn't. Anti-Israelis are always threatening the 'end of Israel'. The 2006 war proved a number of things: 1. The purpose of the capture of Shalit by Hamas and the 3 soldiers by Hezbollah was to reject the possibility of recognition of any border by Israel and to turn Israelis away from support for the 'convergence' (a partial evacuation of Jewish settlers to a Majority Jewish Israeli State). 2. Hezbollah's 'victory' resulted in their military expulsion from the Israeli border. 3. SCR 1701 guaranteed the Blue Line and (by extension) any legitimate border of Israel. 4. Israel is a nuclear power with a second strike capability. The Intl Community is trying to find a settlement that will satisfy the Israelis (minimum reqs) and stand up a Pal state (repartition the Palestine Mandate). You will never be satisfied nor will Lakshmi, Indrajaya, Khalid, Marilyn, Natelie Durson, Hamas or Hezbollah - so what.
