The Palestinians have no one, absolutely no one responsible enough to be in charge and get things under control. Look what Abbas reportedly did; he just let about 60 terrorists out of jail. What did he do that for? He did it for popular support. When the United States was being set up there was a lot of discussion about how much control the elites should have. They determined that only the elites were wise enough to make rational decisions even if they lacked popular support. That's why George W. is President today and not Al Gore. So there's this system of checks and balances between the elite and the masses. The masses surrender their vote to one or more of the elitists in exchange for being able to have a good life. The problem with the Pals is the Fatah ripped them off for millions of dollars. The Hamas on the other hand provided for their basic needs and they were voted in. Problem is they're terrorists under Iranian control. Selah!
