Israel likewise may not be a perfect democracy, but I can tell you for a fact that there is no U.S. newspaper that is as seditious, or as stridently anti-American as Haaretz is anti-Israel, anti-state, anti-Zionist. Certainly not in time of war. The Haaretz editorial writer has no cause for complaint. If anything, it is Haaretz that is anti-democratic and obstructionist of free speech. I mean, look how the TalkBack is filtered to slant toward anti-Israel comments and slurs, while opposing views attitudes are visibly minimized. That the writer of this editorial understands true democracy - and not the crackpot socialist version - is laughable.
