If I recall, about the same time that Deri was under the coals, Ezer Wietzman was discovered to have taken consulting fees while he served as a government minister. Ah, but look what he did for the country, you say! All the more reason he should not have broken the trust the people had in him to take care of the nation's business, and not fill his pockets, not to mention some foreign industrialists pockets. Then again, it was Buzaglo vs Rosenstein, and it seems that Rosenstein's crimes were beyond the Statute of Limitations. The fact was, joe, the way I heard it was that the formulas that are used to give benefits are such that if you "make too much" you are not entitled. Too much can be as much as a hundred shekels, as if that much more would turn you into some kind of Rothchild. It was said that Deri recieved funds from abroad and funneled them to those people whose cases "fell through the cracks" in ways that were technically illegal. Okay, it was illegal, but its hardly the same as gettin' a few dollars, or French Francs, of British Pounds for using your influence to promote some fur'ner. If indeed, he was concerned for the people who were disadvantaged by the system, and played with the system, seems to me that is less crooked, but . . . when its Buzaglo its obviously its a criminal act
