Personally I have no problem with the IDF killing terrorists, as long as they have genuinely tried to capture then, rather then just executing them. However, if you read any accounts of Israel's occupation, you'll find that Pal demonstrators have regularly had 'non-lethal' things fired at them and plenty of innocent civilians have been roused from their sleep, had houses searched, been delayed at checkpoints, been harrassed at checkpoints etc.
