    Korpel's Proposal contains a number of problematic assumptions. Note, for example, the fact that there is no patronymic, no title, etc. Note also that the script of this seal is not a good Old Hebrew 9th Century BCE script, nor is it a good Phoenician script. In addition, Korpel's restoration is speculative (as would be any proposed restoration).
