This article is repeating Iranian/Muslim propoganda. The Iranian Jews have lived in Iran for over 2,500 years and in many ways have more rights to that land than the many later conquerers. Yet they have been severly persecuted by the Muslims. Current examples: Jewish schools have been confiscated by the government and are required to stay opn on Saturday. Jewish hospitals and confiscated schools are all run by Muslims since the current Iranian government cannot allow Jews to be in a position of authority over a Muslim. Jews are excluded by law from becoming Judges, managers, lawyers, civil servants, officers in the armed forces and the police. Jews cannot run for any elected office with the exception of a token Jew in the Majlis. Jews are not allowed to teach or learn Hebrew. Religious education books are government issued in Persian and put on an Islamic slant on the bible stories. The poor Jews are not allowed to use public bath as they are considered Najes(unclean)
