I would interpret the law to mean that Jews favor the family for reasons of procreation and support; that does not mean it condemns the other life styles, it just does not favor them. Our law in the US favors the family, but the laws can be changed according to the wishes of the local population to accommodate other life styles. What is a family, a woman and a man, two women, two men. We are being faced with new questions? Man makes the law. I am sorry to hear so many bigoted replies, but they come from Jews, Christians, Muslims. No monopoly on prejudice.
