If righteousness is hereditary, then why wasn't it true with the first generation? Is that first generation's good deed supposed to suffice for all eternity? That makes no sense. God chooses people based on who they are as people, not by genetics. Not all who have diplomas can read, and not all who can read have diplomas. It's a cop-out.
