The question yet to be answered: "What do you mean by Jew, Jewish, Jewish State" Religious, Ethnic, Ethics. Maybe if the Israel said a "Hebrew State" or an "Israelite State" you might be better off and far more accurate. I cannot support "Jewish State" until it means Jewish Ethics at its core. This state has been moving away from that at an alarming pace. 1: Temple Mount should have been claimed in '67 2: The state and its institutions do not treat its citizens & residents according to the one law dictum of the Torah. 3: The state economy before its citizens. 4: The Jewish Agency which would not install Shabbat elevator service in 8 storied buildings. 5: Treating people by group identity instead of as individuals - a "sectorocracy" state. 6: Special dispensations for law breaking if you're big enough. This is not Jewishness regardless of whether you will join me at prayer or I can eat in your home due to Kashroot. How dare some guy from Cheltenham Township's upper class compare his difficulties when his income goes from $500k to $300k to the maid they fired who has gone from $$15K to zilch. I am sure that a government minister who is out of office but with speaking engagements is not as unemployed or under employed as that dude in Ofuckim or Youruham nor in the same financial pain. I'll bet he did not have to choose between an emergency room visit or food because of money.
