Ben Jabo forever comes up with things like this: "If you`ll exert the effort, you will find that Jews had a long history in Hebron, dating back to Abraham." So what Ben? So did many other nations and tribes. All over the world, territories changed hands, people converted to new religions, tribes moved in and tribes moved out. We don't hear the Greeks laying claim to Iraq or the Romans to Egypt because they once inhabited the place. Israel is alone in the world in making these archaic claims to others' land based on biblical stories - written by Jews. Israel has no more right to Hebron or the rest of the West Bank than the descendants of the Mongols do to Budapest. Jews have actually never been more than a small minority in Hebron. At the time of the Hebron massacre, there were 750 Jews in Hebron, compared to 20,000 Arabs. The rabid settlers cause trouble out of all proportion to their numbers though with their Ben Jabo belief system in Jewish rights uber alles..
