First comprehensive study in Hebrew into Islamic State says Sunni group could wield more influence over Israeli Arabs and Palestinians if it takes land closer to Israel’s borders.11:08 28.11.15 | 1 comments
It's never easy moving into a hostile neighbourhood and trying to make friends, but israel's doing a particularly lousy job of it. Even after it's had 'peace'with Egyot and Jordan for decades, the Egyotian and Jordanian people still loathe Israel. And unless Israel frees the Palestinians and gives them the west Bank, all Israel's neighbours will continue to loathe it. And since nuclear proliferation in the Middle East is a slow but fairly steady process, one of these days, somebody's going to get hold of a nuke and drop it on Israel. Sad, but true. And after millions have died, then the recriminations can start in the Jewish community about who stopped Israel signing a real, fair peace and froming warm friendships with its neighbours, when it could have done so.
