Jewish homeland, more than a religious state: It is not all about religion, it is about history, culture, education and identification by far more. It is factually wrong to brandmark the Jewish State of Israel as a pure religious construct, where you can count non-religious Jews to some of the strongest patriots to be found on this planet. There is no way to compare on pure religious matters the country of Israel and its citizens to places like the Vatican or various sick islamic states. Jews are to be let to be Jews, with all their understandable needs for security and independence after all they went through in all kinds of histories. Being anti-semitic might be some kind of religion to some, being Jewish is much more than celebrating religious beliefs. --- Note: I learnt one example when I asked a Jew about his religion and he said: "All I know is that I'm not Christian and not Muslim, and that somehow I believe in a God."
