I agree that education is our strategic asset. As to Historical experience, I would chose a different expression. Jewish History in many respects aquired the quality of a liability rather than an asset. It is for any Israeli government severely restricting, to reach out for deals, leading a population the fourth generation of which is still traumatized. Simultaneously counting on the broad European self insight, and moral compensation, which would justify calling Jewish Modern History a Moral Asset, (even that seems a bit cynical), constitutes simply wishful thinking. Tragically, the contrary materialises, which additionally renders Jewish Modern History a liability rather than an asset. I however agree that the most tragic experiences, replenish the survivals' crisis, handling ability reservoire. In that respect Jewish History indeed constitutes a stategic asset.
