Fanz Kafka would not have named himself as a "Jewish Czech" nor as a "Jewish German". However his mother tongue was German. He visited the German "Knabenschule" (boys school), the German "Gymnasium" and the German University in Prague. His writings belongs to the German literature and to the world, not to Israel alone.
