If Raphael Ahren depicts Jesus as merely a Jewish patriot, then he is depicting another Jesus than the one Christianity worships. Jesus told the woman at the well in John's Gospel chapter 4 verses 25 and 26 that He is the Messiah. If as Raphael depicts Jesus as not the Son of God, then Jesus would then be the biggest liar ever to walk on earth because He would have deceived 2 billion followers today plus those who believed on Him in the past. If that be the case then Raphael's book makes Jesus out to be a good person, when in fact in Raphael's mind Jesus is not the Messiah, which means Jesus is also a liar. How could Jesus be a good person if He is a liar and a deceiver? A Jew or any non-Christian cannot justify Jesus being merely a good person, because there are too many biblical passages and statements made by Jesus that declare He is the only begotten Son of the living G-d.
