What a bunch of bull. Before the Israelis re-captured Jerusalem it was a neglected city. The Jordanian/Palestinians ( one and the same) used it as a dumping ground for garbage. The Jordanians desacrated Jewish religious sites and even used grave stone markers in the building of roadways. Yes.... the Moslem and the Christian world have ties to Jerusalem ...but do not give me the line "Jerusalem is the apple of the eye of each and every Muslim" It was not the apple of the eye before the Jewish people took it back and opened it up to all. Bethlehem and the Vatican are the heart and soul of Christianity Mecca and Medina are the heart and soul of Islam Jerusalem is the heart and soul of Judaism. As a race we Jews did not come from as aliens from another planet. We originated from somewhere and that somewhere is the Middle East. From Judaism came Christianity ...followed later by Islam. Judaism is the oldest of the religions and Jerusalem is our home turf.
