it seems that there is a problem with all the definitions RE: the ME conflict. does anyone knows who the 'palestinians' are? do they speak 'palestinian' language, share 'palestinian history' or ever had a 'palestinian' state? why do they think they have any right on jerusalem? some of them live there, but that is it, they can continue living there as long as i'm concerned. and if they cherish their connections with bethlehem or ramallah very much, they should obtain the necessary permits or move there altogether. east jerusalem was taken from jordan in 1967, which presently does not request it back. if 1967 was the beginning of the 'occupation', than east jerusalem should be discussed with the jordanians. noone ever heard of the 'palestinians' before that, so are we their liberators, for God's sake??
