When I read the article about the telephone calls initiated by Shin Bet I understood that Gazans were being warned not to harbor militiamen/weapons, and that IF they did they could expect to be bombed. As to "the cage," wasn't leaving Gaza one of the Palestinian demands? Yet another case of 'be careful what you wish for?' The keys to the door are in Hamas' hands. They are now the government, and it is up to them to control their territory. If they cannot control the 'other' militias enough to prevent missles from being fired on Israel, that is NOT Israel's responsibility. As another poster said regarding the US, Israel has no reason or obligation to cater to irrational hatred.
