As you may well know, one of the reasons for the emergence of J-Street has been the fact that AIPAC has continued to tow a very right-wing line over decades, irrespective of the views of US Jews and regardless of the make-up of successive elected Israeli governments. Is it the fact that J-Street don't espouse the extreme right-wing ideology of the current Israeli administration or, more basically, that they are not sufficiently tribalist in their disposition that you ultimately object to? I suspect the latter.
